St. Jude Spring Gala
Saturday April 22nd saw the inaugural St. Jude Spring Gala. It was a privilege to attend this event and help the fundraising efforts of this amazing organization. With it costing more than $2m per day for St. Jude to complete their mission, and 75% of the budget coming from donations, events like these can be hugely important.
St. Jude makes sure that no family has to suffer the financial burden of a child’s fight against disease, so they can focus on what is really important. Their research department openly shares all developments with peers to globally improve the survival chances of any young sufferer.
The event was held at 230 Fifth Ave. Arriving not too long after 8, we were welcomed into this exquisite Penthouse with drinks and hors d’oeuvres. The food and drinks were graciously provided by Ben’s, Drunken Fruit, Bagatelle, 230 Fifth, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, Poco, Melt, Dylan’s Candy, Heartland Brewery, and Insomnia Cookies!
All was top quality, and went a long way to helping make this a great night. Another great feature of the event was the location. We had access to a rooftop bar with the best view of the Empire State Building I’ve ever seen. All in all, it was a great event, supporting a great cause.
Thank you to St. Jude and Collectively for inviting me, and I look forward to this being one of the top Spring events to attend for many years to come.
