​I LOVE yoga especially hot yoga! I started practicing vinyasa hot yoga 8 months before I became pregnant and was addicted. I would go multiple times a day. When I found out I was pregnant I knew I would have to stop hot yoga for a bit. It is recommended to wait to start practicing hot yoga again until after 20 weeks. Also if you never practiced hot yoga it is never recommended to begin when your pregnant. I found hot yoga to help with all the aches of pregnancy and keep me feeling relaxed, but you must be very careful to not over stretch even more so than in regular yoga because of the heat and muscles being more relaxed. Many hot yoga teachers know the proper modifications and will inform you, as well will ask if you have doctors permission to take hot yoga. I found hot vinyasa to be very beneficial in my pregnancy, but it is not for everyone! Regular yoga or prenatal yoga are great as well!!
