The Evelyn NYC

This newly renovated hotel I would absolutely recommend staying at if ever in NYC. Over the years I have stayed in many other hotels being local to NYC. Check in was a breeze and our room was ready as we arrived an hour before check in (3pm). The location of the hotel is right by the Flatiron building and there are many cool restaurants near by.The rooms are clean and have a vintage feel. They are a decent size, I've stayed in smaller rooms. We had our little one with us and the hotel provided a play pin for Jayne to sleep in. I did not like that the play pin had a small mattress added to it so we took it out. Jayne used the play pin to hang out in which was AWESOME, but Jayne slept in her DockATot in the bed as that is what I felt the most comfortable doing (sometimes I can be CRAY with baby safety). The bathroom has an amazing rainfall shower head and the bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash) are wonderful!! We drove into the city and this hotel provides valet parking for our SUV it was $50 (sedan is $40). Valet parking was nice because we tend to not travel light with our little one so it made it so much easier!! Another awesome perk of this hotel is they provide FREE coffee, tea, and water, as well, awesome baked goods in the morning!!! Overall we had a lovely stay at the Evenly hotel and would definitely stay here again.
