Healthy Hot Cocoa

I am 37 weeks pregnant and craving all the holiday sweets these days. I decided to treat myself and my little girl to some hot cocoa with four big marshmallows and all I can say is yum! For the pregnant ladies out there remember chocolate has caffeine in it so make sure you don't drink too much hot chocolate ; ) {Here's my healthier recipe for hot cocoa} 1 cup almond milk 2 teaspoons cocoa powder 1 tablespoon Grade B maple syrup {or use liquid stevia} 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract pinch of sea salt Combine all ingredients into sauce pan over high heat and stir. Serve hot, top with marshmallows and ENJOY! *can also microwave for one minute and stir and repeat until hot! * for some extra protein substitute cocoa powder with any chocolate protein powder{1 scoop} {I LOVE this mug from Anthropology {$6} I've had it for a few years now and it's my go to mug for hot chocolate!}
